Bangladesh A off to Sri Lanka on March 16

Bangladesh A is enjoying some busy schedule of international cricket. After completion of current series with England A, they will be traveling to Sri Lanka to play two four-day Tests and three one-day matches against their Sri Lankan counterparts. Bangladesh A will leave Dhaka on March 16.

Bangladesh A start their campaign on March 19 with the first Test at the Colts CC grounds in Colombo where they also play the second Test from March 25 and the first one-dayer on March 31.

The last two limited-over games will take places at the P Sara Stadium also in the Sri Lankan capital on April 2 and 4.

Both Bangladeshi selectors and their counterparts have declared the preliminary squads for the series. Sri Lanka A team features the likes of Michael Vandort, Thilan Samarweera, Jeehan Mubarak and Rangana Herath who are taking this series as a bid to get their place back in the main side. On the other hand Bangladesh A side is relatively young and inexperienced. Only Captain Tushar Imran and young spinner Enamul Huq jr. played tests for Bangladesh.

After a rather unsuccessful home series against England A, players of Bangladesh A team are determined to display their best in the upcoming away series.
